Tenue de Nîmes was co-founded in 2008 by Menno van Meurs on the basic principles of quality, function and simplicity that are rooted in the history of jeans. Inspired by the many countries the Tenue de Nîmes team visited and landscapes they curiously explored, a vision occurred that it was time to build a clothing brand, Tenue., that would simply show a pure love for high-quality products and will stay relevant in any period of time. Based on his 10 years of experience in retail and gathering consumer feedback for many years, Menno felt it was time to create a clothing brand based on quality, transparency and sustainability: A collection of timeless pieces, for men and women alike, that should become the next wardrobe classics.
